Program Description
Personalized medicine offers promising opportunities for cancer patients, yet challenges in implementing biomarker testing into clinical care hinder its potential. Optimal treatment in metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) requires timely access to targeted therapies, which are contingent upon accurate and timely diagnostic testing. The successful multidisciplinary integration of radiology, pathology, and pharmacy workflows reduced the time interval between biopsy and treatment initiation, thereby accelerating access to treatment. This novel approach, leveraging next-day next-generation sequencing, ensures that patients with advanced NSCLC receive optimal treatment in a timely fashion.
